ILWU calls stop-work meeting in Los Angeles-Long Beach
PierPass said members of the International Longshore and Warehouse Union will hold a stop-work meeting today from 5:00 p.m. through 3:00 a.m. Friday, meaning there won't be a PierPass truck gates at any terminals in the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach.
The meeting is a routine monthly meeting allowed under the ILWU's contract with terminal operators.
