Inchcape partners with Italian forwarder

   Maritime services provider Inchcape Shipping Services has entered a partnership with offshore logistics and freight forwarding specialist Palumbo S.P.A. to form ISS Palumbo S.r.l.
   The partnership combines ISS’ worldwide network with Palumbo’s capabilities in providing offshore project logistics and forwarding and enables ISS Palumbo S.r.l. to offer a combination of agency, project logistics and forwarding to shippers in the growing offshore oil and gas energy sector, the company said.
   Filippo Palumbo, the current managing director of Palumbo, will become senior vice president of offshore solutions in the ISS group to drive the partnership.
