IMC AND COLOMBIA EXPRESS PLAN
U.S./COLOMBIA COOPERATION
Industrial Maritime Carriers
(U.S.A.) Inc. and Colombia Express, L.L.C. plan to cooperate in the trade
between United States Gulf ports, and inland U.S. points via such ports, and
ports and points in Colombia. The two carriers have filed a space charter and
sailing agreement with the U.S. Federal Maritime Commission.
The proposed agreement would permit the shipping lines to charter space
to one another and to coordinate their vessel services in the trade.
