Subcommittee on Coast Guard and Maritime Transportation hosting discussion on consumer prices in Puerto Rico.
The Subcommittee on Coast Guard and Maritime Transportation will hold a roundtable discussion to assess the impact of the Jones Act on consumer prices in Puerto Rico at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in Washington, D.C.
Roundtable participants will include: John Reeve, principal, Reeve & Associates; Michael G. Roberts, senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary, Crowley Maritime; Augustin “Augie” Tellez, executive vice president, Seafarers International Union; and Jon Kaskin, national vice president for legislative affairs and chairman, Merchant Marine Affairs Committee, Navy League of the United States.
The subcommittee roundtable, which will take place in 2253 Rayburn House Office Building, will be open to the public. A live webcast will be posted here.
