IWLA, OSHA form alliance to promote warehouse safety
The International Warehouse Logistics Association and the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration have agreed to collaborative to educate warehouse employees about federal safety and inspection procedures.
The IWLA, which recently added The Association for Logistics Outsourcing as part of its formal name, is an organization of more than 500 members that promotes activities of third-party logistics providers.
The ILWA and OSHA will meet four times a year to implement their alliance, the ILWA said in a statement.
