The acquisition of vehicle and automotive parts specialist De Rooy Logistics will allow Netherlands-based Jan de Rijk to expand its existing services within the industry, the company said in a statement.
Jan de Rijk Logistics has finalized an agreement to acquire fellow Dutch logistics provider De Rooy Logistics, according to a statement from the company
De Rooy Logistics specializes in in transport, warehousing and value added logistics services for the vehicle and automotive parts industry. Jan de Rijk said the acquisition is a strategic move that will allow the company to expand its existing services within the industry.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Based in Roosendaal, the Netherlands, Jan de Rijk operates 25 offices in 15 countries with around 1,000 full-time employees, and has annual revenues of around €170 million (U.S. $183.99 million), according to the company’s website.
