Eric Green, who has been serving as interim chief executive officer at the North Florida port since the resignation of Brian Taylor in March, has been selected as the new CEO of the Jacksonville Port Authority (JAXPORT).
The Jacksonville Port Authority’s (JAXPORT) board of directors has selected Eric Green as the port authority’s next chief executive officer.
Green has been filling in as interim CEO at the North Florida port since former CEO Brian Taylor stepped down in March.
The port authority’s board voted 7-0 on Monday to select Green, a JAXPORT spokesperson confirmed Monday.
Prior to being named interim CEO in March, Green served as the port authority’s senior director of government and external affairs. Green joined the port authority in 2005 as director of government relations and was named a senior director the following year.
