Seattle-based Jensen Maritime Consultants, a Crowley Maritime Corp. company, has expanded its presence to the U.S. Gulf with the opening of a third office in New Orleans.
The new location places Jensen in close proximity to many of its customers and shipyards in the Gulf region, as well as to Crowley’s Houston-based project management business.
Jensen’s New Orleans office will be overseen by Sergio Fifi, general manager. Fifi joined Jensen in 2004 as a naval architect and marine engineer with responsibilities for vessel refurbishment and new designs. In 2010, he transitioned to Crowley as the manager of fleet engineering in Valdez, Alaska, where he was domiciled until recently.
