Johnson & Johnson leasing distribution center
Johnson & Johnson Sales and Logistics Co. has entered into a long-term lease agreement to locate a new 1.38 million-square-foot distribution facility in Coolbaugh, Pa.
Pennsylvania Gov. Edward G. Rendell said the $68 million project would bring 268 new jobs and retain 434 existing jobs that are now located at another Pennsylvania site. The facility will be staffed and operated by one or more third party logistics providers.
The new warehouse distribution center is being built by Clayco Realty Group on a 100-acre site in the Arcadia North Business Park. The project represents the first development project in the park, which received $9.7 million from the state in October 2005.
Johnson & Johnson Sales and Logistics Co. LLC provides sales, marketing and logistical services to U.S. retail customers on behalf of other J&J companies.
