In this role, JP will be responsible for expanding the editorial staff and developing the editorial direction of the publication. He lives in Chattanooga with his wife Ryan and daughter.
JP will report to Brian Straight, who founded the editorial publication and continues to diligently serve as Managing Editor of FreightWaves under the leadership of John Kingston, Executive Editor.
“JP has been an incredible resource since he joined our staff last fall. His writing style and constant desire to expand his knowledge of nearly any subject makes him one of the top journalists in the freight market, globally. He is also a hell of a member of any trivia team, because is full of wonderful (but sometimes pointless) knowledge and facts. We are super stoked to have him take on a bigger role in the organization,” Craig Fuller, CEO of FreightWaves stated.
Since launching in March 2017, FreightWaves has exploded to be the most trafficked and engaged publication in all of transportation and logistics, globally, with over one million page-views and nine million social impressions per month. The publication focuses on the emergence of technology and the impact of broader economic trends on freight market participants.
