“K” LINE, REGIONAL CONTAINER LINES TO START INTRA-ASIA LINK
Japan’s "K" Line and Singapore-based Regional Container Lines
will commence a joint container service connecting Korea, North China and the Straits in
January.
Under a space charter agreement, the two carriers will operate three vessels
of 1,300-TEU capacity.
The rotation of the joint weekly service is: Singapore, Manila, Busan,
Shanghai, Hong Kong and Singapore.
The service will commence northbound with the sailing of the "Orchid
Bridge" from Singapore on Jan. 8. Southbound, the first departure will be from Busan
on Jan. 18.
