The third-party logistics provider opened an office in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
The Kuehne + Nagel Group opened its first office in the Dominican Republic, located in the country’s capital city, Santo Domingo.
The Dominican Republic is situated in a strategic location for both imports and exports with short transit times, especially in the north and southbound trades, the third-party logistics company said.
“In Santo Domingo, Kuehne + Nagel will provide the full product and service range in sea- and airfreight as well as tailor-made solutions for industry sectors including pharma, perishables and consumer goods,” Kuehne + Nagel said in a statement.
Based out of Switzerland, Kuehne + Nagel specializes in the seafreight, airfreight, overland, contract logistics and integrated logistics businesses, with more than 1,000 offices in over 100 countries.
