The Swiss-based third-party logistics company entered into a contract with GlaxoSmithKline, which will remain in effect until 2021.
Kuehne + Nagel entered into a contract with GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), a global healthcare company, to transport products from the raw materials supplier to trade customers for GSK, K + N said in a statement.
The end-to-end global logistics partnership will remain in effect until 2021.
“Kuehne + Nagel was selected as a partner due to the company’s existing track record with GSK, strength in the industry, maturity of integrated logistics provision and significant investment strategy in pharmaceuticals and consumer products logistics,” the third-party logistics company said.
Based out of Brentford, London, GSK has commercial operations in over 150 countries, a network of 84 manufacturing sites in 36 countries and research and development centers in the United States, United Kingdom, Spain, Belgium and China, according to the company’s website.
