Kane Is Able names Westermann president
Scranton, Pa.-based third-party logistics provider Kane Is Able has appointed Pete Westermann as president and chief operations officer.
In this position, Westermann will oversee Kane's long-term business initiatives. He will report to Dick Kane, chief executive officer.
Westermann, a 30-year industry veteran, was president and CEO of Total Logistic Control, where he assisted consumer packaged goods companies to transport, warehouse and distribute their products.
Westermann also held senior positions with other 3PLs during his career, including head of Universal Solutions, senior vice president of sales and solutions with UPS Supply Chain Solutions, and president of Livingston Healthcare.
