Kapsch names Freund VP sales

   Kapsch TrafficCom IVHS Inc., a subsidiary of Kapsch TrafficCom AG, has appointed John Freund to senior vice president for sales and business development in North America. 
   He joins Kapsch as a 12-year veteran in the intelligent transportation business and electronic tolling industries. Freund has held senior management positions at Sirit, Federal Signal and 3M.

Located in the Washington, D.C. area, Chris Gillis primarily reports on regulatory and legislative topics that impact cross-border trade. He joined American Shipper in 1994, shortly after graduating from Mount St. Mary’s College in Emmitsburg, Md., with a degree in international business and economics.
