KELLOGG REDUCES NUMBER OF FORWARDERS FROM 40 TO 1
Kellogg Co. has reduced the number of forwarders it works with
worldwide from 40 to one by appointing Danzas as a single provider.
The Battle Creek, Mich.-based multinational has signed an agreement
with the big Swiss forwarding and logistics group under which Danzas handles all the
freight originating from Kellogg’s production facilities throughout the world.
Danzas will provide warehousing, distribution, air, ocean, customs,
transborder and domestic services.
Danzas has set up "implants" in Kellogg’s offices in Battle
Creek and in Mexico. Another Danzas implant will be put in Kellogg’s offices in
Manchester, United Kingdom.
