K+N, SAS continue logistics agreement

   Kuehne + Nagel has extended its logistics provider partnership with SAS Scandinavian Airlines (SAS Technical Operation) for another three years.
   K+N’s Copenhagen airport office provides door-to-door logistics services to the carrier and handles a range of aircraft parts, from engines to small cockpit window bolts.
   “A smooth and innovative supply chain is extremely important for airlines,” said Jens Davidsen, air freight director for Kuehne + Nagel Denmark, in a statement. “Any irregularity or an error can cause very high costs, for instance if an aircraft must be held on the ground because of the late delivery of spare parts.”
