KN FreightNet, which allows users to quickly obtain quotes and place bookings, became available to Kuehne + Nagel’s Seafreight less-than-container-load segment.
Kuehne + Nagel’s digital KN FreightNet solution is now available to its Seafreight less-than-container-load (LCL) segment.
Using KN FreightNet for LCL shipments allows customers to obtain shipment quotes within seconds and place orders faster, Kuehne + Nagel said.
The platform can be accessed by anyone and does not require pre-registration.
Quotations are based on the place of origin, final destination, weight and volume.
Users receive an overview of the estimated transit time and the all-inclusive door-to-door price, including all applicable surcharges. Customers can then make a booking or save the offer, which is valid for 30 days.
With the KN Login iPhone App, users can check the status and transportation details of the LCL shipment while it is in transit.
Kuenhe + Nagel’s Airfreight segment obtained KN FreightNet in 2014, while the Overland segment will gain a KN FreightNet solution soon, freight forwarder said.
