International technology group Körber is gaining a stronger foothold in the United States, and an advanced software platform through the acquisition of supply chain management software provider HighJump, the companies said.
Hamburg-based international technology group Körber has acquired Minneapolis, Minn.-based supply chain management software provider HighJump.
Körber is gaining a stronger foothold in the United States, and an advanced software platform through the acquisition, the companies said in a joint press release.
Although the purchase price was not disclosed, HighJump was purchased from its parent company, Accellos Holdings, and its primary investor, Accel-KKR, a technology focused investment firm.
Accellos Holdings and Accel-KKR will continue to own TrueCommerce, a cloud-based business-to-business commerce network and former sister company to HighJump, the company said.
Through Körber’s acquisition of HighJump, and prior acquisitions of software companies Inconso, DMLogic and Aberle Software, the company has underlined its claim to be the technology leader in the supply chain management software segment, according to Korber and HighJump.
Körber acquired DMLogic in June of this year, Inconso in April 2014 and Aberle Software in June 2012.
“With the acquisition of HighJump we are really putting down a marker in the sector as we are taking a leading international position in the areas of supply chain management and cloud solutions,” Körber Group Executive Board Chairman Stephan Seifert said. “We want to be the go-to company worldwide for our customers when it comes to providing support for their successful business development.”
