KUEHNE & NAGEL BUYS COSTA RICAN FREIGHT FORWARDER
Kuehne & Nagel International AG, a logistics provider and freight forwarder based in Schindellegi, Switzerland, said Tuesday it has acquired Agentes Nacionales ANASA S.A., a customs broker and freight forwarder in San Jose, Costa Rica.
Agentes Nacionales, in business for more than 15 years, will be rebranded as Kuehne & Nagel S.A.
The company employs 22 people at three offices in Costa Rica, providing sea and air freight consolidation, customs brokerage, bonded warehouse services, and regional distribution through Central America and Mexico.
