LANCHILE JOINS ONEWORLD
LanChile, the national flag carrier of Chile, has joined the oneworld
alliance of airlines formed last September.
LanChile joins American Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific of
Hong Kong, Qantas of Australia, Canadian Airlines International, Finnair,
and Iberia of Spain.
The Chilean airline said it will begin offering oneworld services next
year, after its computer systems are integrated with those of other
members. oneworld members sell seats on each other’s flights, share
frequent flyer miles and cooperate on other passenger services.
