Danish freight forwarder and logistics provider Leman agreed to the acquisition of all shares in Dalpa International Ltd yesterday.
Leman International Transport Ltd, a freight forwarder and logistics provider, agreed to the acquisition of all shares in Dalpa International Ltd yesterday.
Freight forwarding specialist Dalpa has offices in Leeds, England and Glasgow, Scotland.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Leman’s business activities in Bradford, England are expected to merge with Dalpa’s operations in Leeds during the first quarter of 2016, Leman said.
“Dalpa’s core business of European road freight will complement our current services and historical focus on the Nordic countries to and from the UK.,” Leman said.
In addition, Leman acquired RSH Freight Master Limited and subsidiary Principal Freight Limited, Hounslow (Heathrow) July 1. RSH/Principal’s air and sea expertise and stable platform in the United Kingdom will strengthen Leman’s operations, the company said in a statement.
Headquartered in Denmark, Leman is represented in six countries with subsidiaries in Sweden, Norway, Finland, the United Kingdom and the United States.
