Lineage Logistics expands U.S. network

The temperature-controlled warehousing and logistics provider has acquired new buildings in Phoenix, Ariz. and Bethlehem, Pa., and plans to expand two others, adding a total of 21 million cubic feet of space to the company’s existing network.

Bay Grove Capital-backed temperature-controlled warehousing and logistics provider Lineage Logistics, LLC is expanding its U.S. network, according to a statement from the company.
Lineage has completed the acquisition of new buildings in Phoenix, Ariz. and Bethlehem, Pa., and plans to expand two others in the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, area, adding a total of 21 million cubic feet of space to the company’s existing network.
The company said it expects to break ground at its cold storage distribution center in Fort Worth in the next few months, with plans to open the expansion in October. The facility will increase its total capacity to 23.9 million cubic feet with over 54,000 pallet positions to house frozen and refrigerated products.
Lineage plans to expand its Sunnyvale (Dallas) facility to be a rack-supported, fully automated building featuring a 75-foot plus clear height and over 7 million cubic feet of temperature-controlled storage space.
The Dallas-Fort Worth expansion projects come on the heels of Lineage’s acquisition of a 200,000 square-foot building in Phoenix and a 265,000 square-foot cold storage facility in Bethlehem, near the company’s Allentown, Pa. distribution center.
