Allan Dow, president of Logility, said the acquisition extends Logility’s ability to deploy innovative supply chain and retail optimization solutions faster and at a lower total cost of ownership.
The supply chain software provider Logility said Tuesday it has acquired privately-held AdapChain, a U.S.-based developer of integration solutions.
AdapChain’s products help companies integrate their supply chain systems, such as network planning, procurement and transportation execution, with existing enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions using a template-based approach.
AdapChain’s AdapLink (which is being rebranded as Logility’s Voyager AdapLink) will mesh transaction and master data from enterprise systems with Logility’s Voyager Solutions, which include transportation, inventory and inventory optimization tools.
Logility and AdapChain have partnered for years on implementation, ERP and enterprise software integration, including systems from Infor, JDA, Microsoft, Oracle and SAP. Logility said the integration solutions are designed to allow companies to achieve lower total cost of ownership and increase the rate of system adoption within the organization.
“Acquiring AdapChain extends Logility’s ability to deploy innovative supply chain and retail optimization solutions more quickly and at a lower total cost of ownership,” said Allan Dow, president of Logility. “We have identified additional investment areas to deliver new efficiencies and harness the exponential growth of data that will drive tomorrow’s hyper-responsive supply chains.”
