Long Beach port director joins Marine Terminals Corp.
Don Wylie, managing director of maritime services of the Port of Long Beach, will join West Coast terminal operator Marine Terminals Corp. as executive vice president of general stevedoring services Aug. 1.
Wylie has worked for the port of Long Beach for last 13 years, including eight as trade and maritime services director and the last five years as managing director of maritime services.
Based at Marine Terminals Corp.’s headquarters in Oakland, Wylie will be responsible for the company’s West Coast general stevedoring activities, which includes breakbulk, automobile, refrigerated cargo, contract container stevedoring, as well as bulk commodity operations.
Wylie was once Northern California general manager with Marine Terminals Corp.
