LUFTHANSA TO ADD LOS ANGELES/MUNICH SERVICE
Lufthansa German Airlines said Monday it will add daily non-stop 747-400 service from Los Angeles to Munich on March 25.
The service departs from Los Angeles International Airport at 2:25 p.m. and arrives at Munich at 10:15 a.m. the following morning. The arrival is in time to make connections with the airline's midday flight departures, including flights to Italy, Barcelona, Madrid, Nice, Athens and Istanbul. The return flight leaves Munich at 1:20 p.m. and arrives at Los Angeles at 4 p.m.
The airline said it will add about 250 flights a week to Munich by this summer to further expand the city's role as an European hub, and offer connections to southern Europe and the Mediterranean.
