MAERSK SEALAND NAMES NEW 3,700-TEU SHIP
Maersk Sealand, the shipping line of the A.P. Moller group, has named the “Lica Maersk,” the fifth new ship in a series of six 3,700-TEU container vessels built at the group’s Odense Steel Shipyard.
The post-Panamax ship has a length of 266 meters, a beam of 37 meters and a draught of 14 meters.
After sea trials, the “Lica Maersk” will enter Maersk Sealand’s worldwide liner services some time after mid-November.
