Maersk Sealand starts trans-Siberian rail link

   Maersk Sealand is starting a new trans-Siberian rail service between Asia and Europe.

   Commencing Monday, Maersk Sealand’s “Trans Siberian” rail service will link SCF Oriental Lines’ existing service from Shanghai, China and Busan, South Korea, to Vostochny, Russia, with the rail service to Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Finland and Poland provided by Trans Siberian Express Service.

   SCF Oriental Lines and Trans Siberian Express Service are both owned by the A.P. Moller-Maersk group.
