MAERSK SEALAND SWITCHES SOUTH ATLANTIC PORTS ON TP2 PACIFIC SERVICE
Maersk Sealand has started calling at the port of Savannah on its all-water transpacific TP2 service between Asia and the West and East coasts of the U.S. Previously the service had been calling at Charleston.
The weekly service deploys 10 ships of 2,820-TEU capacity, with a revised service rotation of Savannah, Ga.; Norfolk, Va.; Manzanillo, Panama; Long Beach, Calif.; Oakland, Calif;, Dutch Harbor, Ala.; Yokohama, Japan; Nagoya, Japan; Busan, Korea; Naha, Japan; Yantian, China; Hong Kong, China; Yantian; Shanghai, China; Kwangyang, Korea; Busan; Long Beach; Manzanillo; Savannah and Norfolk.
