Maersk has provided additional details on the service it will begin offering May 19 connecting the U.S. East Coast with the West Coast of South America.
Maersk will charter space from MSC on its Andean Feeder Service, with an allocation of 150 FEUs each week. Half of that allocation will be from Port Everglades and the other half from other East Coast ports.
Maersk will offer the following rotation: Philadelphia, Newark, Charleston, Kingston, Balboa, Buenaventura, Callao, Arica, San Antonio, Callao, Balboa and Philadelphia. Cargo from Port Everglades will move on MSC’s Ecuador Express Service and connect in Balboa, Panama.
