Maersk said it will launch a new new weekly intra-America service, MesoAmerica Express (MAE), that will connect the United States and Puerto Rico with Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, and the Dominican Republic.
The MAE rotation will be Houston — Altamira — Veracruz — Santo Tomas — Puerto Cortes — Puerto Limon — Manzanillo — Cartagena — Caucedo — San Juan — Cartagena — Manzanillo — Puerto Limon — Santo Tomas — Puerto Cortes — Houston.
Maersk said the effective vessel and voyage date are to be determined in January.
