The Memphis, Tenn.-based third-party logistics provider opened an office in Houston, allowing the company to re-enter a market that is expected to increase its imports and exports tonnage with the expansion of the Panama Canal.
Third-party logistics provider Mallory Alexander opened an office in Houston, Texas.
Mallory Alexander’s Houston team provides a variety of services including customs consultation, customs clearance, automated importer pre-filing, quota entries and proficiency in various free trade agreements, the company said.
In addition, the office assists customers across all facets of general cargo supply chains as well as niches in pharmaceuticals, food products and steel industries.
“The Port of Houston is a prime location for U.S. imports and exports. This new office presents the opportunity to expand our footprint near the fastest growing Gulf port,” Mallory Alexander President Neely Mallory III said in a statement.
“It also allows Mallory to re-enter a market that is expected to increase its imports and exports tonnage with the expansion of the Panama Canal,” he added.
Mallory Alexander already had a significant presence in Texas with offices in Dallas and Laredo, along with multiple warehouses across the state.
