MARKS & SPENCER SIGNS EXEL TO MANAGE SEVEN U.K. WAREHOUSES
Marks & Spencer, a provider of high-end food and domestic products, has contracted with Exel, a U.K.-based provider of logistics services, to manage seven of Marks & Spencer’s 11 general-merchandise warehouses in the United Kingdom.
The five-year contract extends a 35-year relationship between Exel and Marks & Spencer. About 2,000 of the latter’s logistics staffers will transfer to Exel’s employment in the coming months.
