Mayfield named IWLA chairman
The International Warehouse Logistics Association has elected Gary L. Mayfield, chief executive officer of Kenco Logistics Services, to the post of chairman for 2010-2011.
Mayfield joined Kenco as CEO in 1999. Kenco, one of the country's largest privately held third-party logistics firms, serves more than 200 clients in 31 states and Canada, with 100 facilities and 25 million square feet of warehouse space.
In addition to IWLA, Mayfield is active in the Warehousing Education and Research Council and Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals.
