McDonough to lead DMA

   Dennis McDonough, vice president of client solutions at Santa Fe Springs, Calif.-based Weber Distribution, has been elected president of the Distribution Management Association.

   DMA encourages growth of its members by facilitating opportunities to exchange ideas, discuss industry related problems, and keep abreast of government legislation.

   McDonough joined Weber last year with more than 30 years of industry experience in logistics-related services and sales. He previously served as president and founder for Liberty Logistics Services based in Ontario, Calif.; director of business development for Burnham Service Corp. in Atlanta; regional sales manager for USCO Distribution Services in Naugatuck, Conn.; vice president operations and sales for RPM Transportation/Royal Hawaiian Express; and warehouse manager for Interamerican Public Distribution Corp.
