McLeod Software acquires iLENS
McLeod Software, a provider of dispatch, accounting and operations fleet management software, has acquired Integrated Logistics Execution Network Systems.
iLENS, a logistics software firm, provides freight procurement, load management and spot market software, as well as consulting services for shippers, carriers and third-party logistics providers.
'While the industry is struggling through a very rough economic time, our continued success is allowing us to invest in expanding our portfolio,' said Tom McLeod, president and chief executive officer of McLeod Software, in a statement. 'The iLENS product line allows us to accelerate our penetration of the supply chain and logistics space.'
iLENS founder Michael Voelk, along with the iLENS systems and consulting staff, will join McLeod. Voelk will become vice president of sales – iLENS for McLeod Software. Current iLENS customers include Greatwide Logistics Services and Smithfield Foods.
