MED SHIPPING OPENS FIVE U.S. OFFICES
Mediterranean Shipping co. has opened five new U.S. offices in support
of its recently introduced transpacific container service. The new offices
are in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Dallas and Detroit.
Med Shipping’s new transpacific service links Los Angeles with Yokohama,
Busan, Hong Kong, Chiwan and Shanghai on a weekly basis.
Heading the line’s West Coast management office is Tom Healey, senior
vice president-West Coast, based in the Los Angeles office. He has been
with the company 22 years, most recently as senior vice president at the
line’s U.S. headquarters in New York City.
