MERCURY NAMES NEW CARGO UNIT PRESIDENT
Mercury Air Group has appointed J.R. "Butch" Bouchard to replace
Steven R. Ritchie as president of the company’s air cargo handling subsidiary.
Bouchard was already serving as acting president of Mercury Air Cargo.
Bouchard was president and owner of Canadian air cargo handler Excel Cargo, before Mercury
acquired Excel in 1997.
Ritchie resigned in February after Mercury closed an unprofitable cargo
handling operation at Miami International Airport. Mercury operates
handling facilities in Los Angeles, Atlanta, Montreal and Toronto.
