Milaha launches new warehousing, logistics services in Oman

The Qatar-based company is expanding its operations within Oman to include warehousing and third-party logistics services since having transferred its transshipment hub to Sohar, Oman.

Qatar-based logistics and maritime shipping company Milaha has launched warehousing and third-party logistics service operations in the Sohar Free Zone in Oman.
The company previously shifted its regional transshipment hub to the Port of Sohar, and plans to offer additional services in Oman in the future.
“Milaha’s logistics setup in Oman will provide excellent opportunities for local, regional, and international importers and exporters, and will increase options to access the lucrative Qatari market,” the company said in a statement.
“We are excited about the opportunities this will bring for our partners and ourselves, especially as we add new value-add services such as distribution and LCL, among others, over the next few weeks,” added Milaha President and CEO Mr. Abdulrahman Essa Al-Mannai. “We will aim, as always, to provide the most cost-effective and efficient solutions to our clients.”
According to ocean carrier schedule and capacity database BlueWater Reporting, Milaha currently operates four services between Qatar and Oman and one service to India. The company says it is “actively evaluating further expansion of services.”
