MIQ Logistics said Wednesday it has opened a new logistics center at De Voorde in Venray, The Netherlands.
The facility has 110,000 square feet of warehouse space and is equipped with a changeable racking system, deployed warehouse management technology and road transportation and distribution capabilities. The site also provides customs processing and is capable of operating as a bonded warehouse.
“Our new Venray facility gives our customers a distribution point that allows them to reach the most important markets and business centers in Europe,” said Rob Bongaerts, vice president and managing director for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa region. “The Netherlands is one of the few countries that have actively implemented a cross-border bonded warehouse license which has facilitated the flexibility that is needed in our customers’ supply chains.”
