MOL OPENS OFFICE IN MUSCAT, OMAN

   Mitsui O.S.K. Lines has opened an office in Muscat, the capital of the Sultanate of Oman.

   The new office will provide shipmanagement and operational services for two liquefied natural gas carriers co-owned with the government of the Sultanate of Oman and partners.

   MOL co-owns the LNG carrier “Lakshmi” with the Omani government and the Shipping Corporation of India. MOL will also co-own another LNG carrier with the Omani government and Mitsui & Co., Ltd., to be delivered in 2004.
