Mølgaard to become Damco’s CFO

   Damco, the forwarding arm of the A.P. Moller Maersk, has appointed Tommy Mølgaard as its global chief financial officer.
   Mølgaard was previously head of corporate finance at another Maersk subsidiary, APM Terminals.
   He has more than 20 years of experience in finance at a senior level in the logistics sector. He gained extensive experience as CFO during various assignments with the A.P. Moller – Maersk Group in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
   “Our ambition is to become a top five logistics player in the years to come. I am confident that Tommy, with his longstanding expertise in our sector, will help to lead our business forward,” said Rolf Habben-Jansen, chief executive officer of Damco, in a statement.
   Habben-Jansen is planning to leave Damco to become CEO of Hapag-Lloyd next year.
