MOROCCAN CARRIER ADDS ROTTERDAM, DROPS FELIXSTOWE
Casablanca-based International Maritime Transport Corp. is adding a call at Rotterdam on its fortnightly Europe/Morocco service. The new call replaces the previous call at Felixstowe.
The 180-TEU vessel “Chichaoua” will make the first sailing from Rotterdam on May 6. The revised service rotation will be Rotterdam, Antwerp, Casablanca, Rotterdam and Antwerp.
F.A. Voigt & Co. has been appointed as agent for IMTC in the Netherlands.
A spokesperson for Voigt said that the carrier was planning to upgrade the service to weekly in a couple of months.
