Mediterranean Shipping Co. announced it will add a call to Dakar on its NWC-Canary-WAF loop.
Ocean carrier Mediterranean Shipping Co. will add a call to Dakar on its NWC-Canary-WAF standalone loop, starting with the arrival of the MSC Banu in Dakar Aug. 30.
The revised port rotation of the loop will be St. Petersburg, Antwerp, Felixstowe, Le Havre, Las Palmas, Dakar, Lagos, Tema, Abidjan, San Pedro, Las Palmas, Agadir, Antwerp, Bremerhaven and St. Petersburg.
According to ocean carrier schedule and capacity database BlueWater Reporting, the loop operates with eight vessels with an average capacity of 3,062 TEUs.
Three other services that operate with fully-cellular vessels already offer capacity between North Europe and Dakar, which include CMA CGM’s EURAF1, Hapag-Lloyd’s WAX, and MSC’s Angola Express.
