Mediterranean Shipping Co. said this week it will raise rates on shipments from Japan to the United States from Jan. 1.
The planned increase is $320 per 20-foot container, $400 per 40-foot container, and $450 per 40-foot high-cube container, applicable to U.S. West Coast, all-water, and inland point intermodal shipments.
