MSC (USA) promotes seven executives
Mediterranean Shipping Co. (USA) Inc., a major global container carrier, has announced the following executive promotions, effective Jan. 1:
Nicola Arena, chief executive officer, has been named chairman as well continuing as CEO of MSC (USA) and its information technology subsidiary, Interlink Technologies.
Claudio Bozzo is now president and chief operating officer. He was executive vice president.
Allen Clifford has been named executive vice president, commercial. He was MSC (USA)'s senior vice president, sales and marketing.
Robert Milazzo is now executive vice president, intermodal and equipment control. He was senior vice president, intermodal.
Giancarlo Morgera is senior vice president, liner services. He was vice president, liner services.
Christopher J. Parvin is now vice president, marine operations. He was assistant vice president, marine operations.
Fabio Catassi has been named president and chief operating officer of Interlink Technologies. Catassi will retain his title as chief technical officer, MSC Geneva.
The promotions represent 'a smooth management succession moving forward,' Arena said in a statement.
MSC (USA) employs more than 700 people and has offices in Atlanta; Baltimore; Boston; Charleston, S.C.; Charlotte, N.C.; Chicago; Cleveland; Detroit; Houston; Costa Mesa, Calif.; Miami; New York; Norfolk, Va.; New Orleans, and Freeport and Nassau in the Bahamas.
