Nautilus names Hauser as COO
Nautilus International Holding Corp., the parent firm of Metropolitan Stevedore Co. among other firms, last week appointed Norman Hauser as chief operating officer.
Hauser, a 10-year veteran of Wilmington, Calif.-based Nautilus, most recently served as the firm's senior vice president. He will replace retiring COO Albert Garnier.
Originally formed as an offshoot of the California Stevedore and Ballast Co. in the 1920s, Metropolitan was remained a cargo-handling fixture on the West Coast since.
Nautilus is the parent group of Metropolitan Stevedore, Metro Cruise, Metro Shore Services, Pacific Warehouse, Metro Risk Management and Southeast Crescent Shipping.
