NEOMODAL.COM TAPS RICHARD MURPHY AS CHAIRMAN, CEO
NeoModal.com, based in Charlotte, N.C., has appointed Richard E. Murphy as chairman and chief executive officer, a company spokesman said Wednesday.
Murphy has been senior vice president of Maersk Sealand, where he worked to integrate business from Sea-Land Service Inc., into Maersk Sealand. Before that, he was Sea-Land’s senior vice president for operations.
NeoModal.com, a provider of business-to-business transportation and logistics services, recently acquired eRateRequest.com, the first of dozens of online shipping auctions.
