NEW COSCO PACIFIC SERVICES TO START MAY 22-23
China Ocean Shipping Co. said that its new China Northeast and China
Southeast transpacific services will start from Dalian and Xiamen on May 22
and 23, respectively.
The two weekly loops will provide direct services between North America,
Japan and the Chinese ports of Dalian, Xingang, Qingdao, Xiamen and
Shanghai.
A spokesman for COSCO said that it is "deploying more capacity … to
appease shippers’ headaches with transshipment."
The two new weekly links will replace the weekly "NEA"
Japan/China/U.S.
West Coast service, which COSCO is withdrawing.
