New Hapag-Lloyd service links Italy, Turkey and Egypt

   Hapag-Lloyd is launching a new service linking 10 ports in Italy, Turkey and Egypt.
   The first sailing in the new Levante Express Service (LEX) will depart June 18 from Cagliari. Three vessels with approximate capacity of 1,400 TEU each will operate in this rotation:
Cagliari, Alexandria, Damietta, Port Said, Mersin, Izmir, Cagliari,
Genoa, Leghorn, Naples, Salerno and Cagliari again.
   Calls to the hub ports of Cagliari, Damietta and Port Said offer connection to Hapag-Lloyd services to and from Asia, the Middle East, the Indian subcontinent, North, Central and South America, Africa, Northern Europe and Australia. – Chris Dupin
